Schulz - Fowler
Molly Leigh Schulz and Steven Trey Fowler were united in marriage on November 16, 2013 in a gazebo overlooking the lake at Lake Lanier Islands Resort. The Rev. Eddie Roberts officiated at the ceremony.
Molly is the daughter of Kurt and Gretchen Schulz of Snellville. Trey is the son of Jill and the late James Fowler of Morrow. Molly is the activities director at Eastside Gardens in Snellville and Trey is assistant baseball coach at Kennesaw State University. The wedding had a baseball theme because of the groom's lifelong love of the game.
The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father as Beethoven’s Ode to Joy was played on the harp by Kelly Brzozowski of Lilburn. The bride wore a gown that was encrusted with pearls and crystals and accented with a plum-colored sash and shoes. Her bouquet featured purple mini calla lilies, lavender roses, baby green hydrangeas and bruni berries.
The bride's attendants were attired in plum dresses. The bride's sister, Jessica Schulz Roth of Grayson, was her matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jessica Wheatley of Watkinsville; Crystal Henchel of Grayson; Kimberlie Fowler, the groom's sister, of Morrow; and Bree Stamschror, the groom's niece, of Morrow. Haven Wright, daughter of the groom's cousin, was the flower girl.
Jim Waits of Cleveland, GA served as best man. Groomsmen were C.J. Brooks of Havertown, PA; Wes Crow of Alto; B.J. Hampton of Watkinsville; Andy House of Washington, DC; and Ian McClary of Jacksonville, FL. The bride's nephew, Aiden Roth, served as ring bearer and carried a ring box in a baseball glove. Eli Roth and Addison Roth, also the brides' nephews, served as ushers, passing out baseball-themed programs as guests arrived.
Maddy, the couple's dog, was dog of honor, wearing a collar of fresh flowers and a purple tutu. Following the ceremony the couple walked down the aisle to the song “Take Me Out to the Ballgame,”
The couple honeymooned in Playa del Carmen, Mexico and now reside in Grayson.
