Grayson HS is known for football. But this year was the first year that GHS’ boys Varsity Lacrosse made it to the 6-A State playoffs! We also had 3 Varsity players to sign for College Lacrosse: Chris Briner, MVP, and Darius Thompson, All County Defensive, both signed to play the inaugural season at Columbus State University. Head Coach Brendan Bonacum moved down from New York to start the program, Chris will be the starting Goal Tender and Darius will be one of the starting Defensemen. Roman Brown signed with Huntington University in Alabama and Varsity player Sharp Reineryson also made All County Offense. Lacrosse is the fastest growing sport in the South East, and Grayson High School is getting recognized, look out Football!!!
Five universities recently announced that they will award scholarships to a group of Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) graduates from the Class of 2014 who soon will enroll as their own college students.
LAWRENCEVILLE, GA – The Community Foundation for Northeast Georgia (CFNEG) was excited to present recently a check for $10,000 to the Gwinnett Tech Foundation to complete their commitment to grant a total of $50,000 over five years in support of Gwinnett Tech’s Legacy of Lives Campaign.
