Artist’s reception set for Sunday

SNELLVILLE – The art of two area artists will be celebrated at a reception May 17 in City Hall.

From 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday in the Community Room of City Hall, Shirley Shepherd and Michael Uhr will show and discuss their work at the event presented by the Snellville Arts Commission.

Gwinnett County Public Schools students, teams earn top honors in state technology competition

Student teams from Parkview High School, Grayson High School, Collins Hill High School, and Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science, and Technology have qualified to compete at the National Technology Student Association (TSA) Conference, after earning top spots in the Georgia TSA competition. Parkview’s TSA chapter also was recognized as the top chapter in the state.
