Antiaging is everywhere. Turn on the television, open a magazine or drive down the highway, and you will be bombarded with ads touting the best product or treatment to turn back the clock.
The massive amounts of choices can boggle the most educated minds.
At About Face Skin Care, we often see clients who are frustrated with the overload. Last week, I sat down with a customer who went to three facilities and had three different opinions on the types of things she should do for keeping her face in youthful condition. She didn’t share this until I had finished her consultation and she told me that it was the first time all of her concerns had been addressed. Her previous experiences had ranged from a provider entering the room to provide a treatment without thoroughly discussing the after-effects and expected results to another who asked her to tell them “what she wanted.” This is not the first time we have heard this feedback.
The same is true for gentlemen. Men account for the fastest growing population in our practice. It is becoming more acceptable for men to seek aesthetic services to feel more youthful. While we will help gentlemen decide which areas need treatment, we value keeping men, as well as women, looking healthy and natural.
