Cheryl's Adventure -
Don’t worry, Be happy
By Cheryl Copeland

The last dismissal bell rang and students flooded the hallways.  Cheerful children were excited to be released and anxious to enjoy their few free hours of freedom left in the day.  Among these smiling faces were two bubbling young ladies that appeared to be as happy and carefree as the rest of world.

Hmmm – that’s weird.  What is that?  Is that a lump?  How are we to know if a lump is a lump?  We should check ourselves once a month, but what exactly are we supposed to be feeling?  Had I checked myself before, then I ‘d know if it was normal to feel as though I had a twenty-five cent rubber bouncy ball stuck in the side of my boob!

The Hunter Family

Upon the walls of the Art Garden Studio happily hangs the perfect painting.  The owner, Joanne Hunter, chose to paint and display the phrase Everybody Has A Story to personally remind herself that each of her customers come to her with their own unique personalized story.  Her energy has always been focused on getting to know her customers and reading their stories.  Never did she put much thought into her very own story – that is until now.

Christmas season has returned!  Sparkling lights are strung.  Beautiful wreaths are hung.  Holiday music fills the air.  Every little gift is wrapped with care.  Let the hustle and bustle of the season take hold.  But, wait!  There’s a greater story that must be told!

Christmas always brings about the most dazzling decorations, magical music, and fabulous family traditions - but nothing can compare to having received the most precious gift of all.  Time!

Some men often wonder why it is that women get so ridiculously excited about a “Ladies Night Out.”  Well Gentlemen, let us break it down for you with three simple words to help you understand: Ladies – Night – Out!

Blue – simply one of the most beautiful colors in the world!  Nothing is more beautiful than bright blue skies or breathtaking brilliant blue waters of the ocean.  Up until a year ago, blue was definitely my choice of color.  And then I was diagnosed with breast cancer!  The last thing I desired was to be left feeling blue!  I would have to make a change – it was time for a transformation!  I needed a new color to view the world as beautiful– my life soon became Pinkalicious!
