When it comes to arched, angled, and odd-shaped windows there is not one simple answer. There are not a wide variety of options for these windows and the products that are available are limited in function and in size.

October begins the nationwide Window Cord Safety Effort

This month we are devoting our column to your window covering safety. We are sharing the article from the Window Covering Safety Council website:

The Window Covering Safety Council (WCSC) and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) are urging parents and caregivers during October to check their window coverings for exposed or dangling cords that can pose a strangulation hazard to infants and young children, and to retrofit or replace them with today’s safer products.

Make your window treatments the focal point

When it comes to window treatments, they should be a focal point in any room. If you don’t want bare or uninteresting, add a layer over your blinds, shades, or shutters. Layering can be done in a variety of ways.
