 I think many Christians and people, in general, have two different views of God when it comes to the Old Testament and the New Testament. People tend to view the “God of the Old Testament” as an angry God who brings his punishment and wrath down on anyone who does not follow his laws. God desires for His people, the church, to be unified. Now, it’s really hard for people to have unity because we have so many different beliefs, opinions, and preferences. It’s challenging for a family living under the same roof to be unified. It’s really difficult for a church family, a local body of believers, to be unified. And it’s extremely challenging for all the churches around our community, country, and the world to be unified.

Romans 3:10-12 says, “There is no one righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands, no one who seeks God. All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one.”
