Earl Bradford, a local ARS/Rescue Rooter technician, met Patricia Williams on a service call, and he realized she could benefit from help from Allgood Plumbing, Electric, Heating, Cooling. Patricia's HVAC system was not working, and she subsequently was using space heaters to make her home comfortable for over six years.

Patricia has a 10-year-old granddaughter for whom she is the primary caregiver; however, Patricia is on a fixed income, and replacing an HVAC system is not within her means.

Earl told his team at Allgood about Patricia, and the donation was approved on the spot.

Allgood Plumbing, Electric, Heating, Cooling is a service provider in the ARS/Rescue Rooter network, and they donate hot water tanks and HVAC systems to the people in their community who need them through a program called "ARS Cares."

"The ARS Cares program means so much to me, and donating this HVAC system to the Williams family is a wonderful way to start the holidays," says Wayne Gehrhardt, General Manager of Allgood Plumbing, Electric, Heating and Cooling. "I am so grateful that we can help Ms. Williams and her granddaughter stay warm this holiday and for many more to come."
