Community Encouraged to "Masquerade" In Support of Service to All Mankind

Psi Omega Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and its philanthropic arm Georgia Pearls of Service Foundation, Inc. (GPOS) will ring out the old and ring in the new with their 2nd annual signature fundraising event "A Kaptivating Affair", a New Year's Eve Masquerade Ball, on December 31 at the Hilton Atlanta Northeast in Peachtree Corners, Georgia from 9:00 pm - 2:00 am.

But make no mistakes. The bell of this masquerade ball is service to the community. All proceeds will be utilized to fund community service projects, outreach programs and college scholarships as Psi Omega Omega Chapter and Georgia Pearls of Service Foundation work to improve the quality of life and living for those plagued by the consequences of issues such as poverty, homelessness, disease, and lack of access to education and the arts.

Guests can expect an elegant evening inclusive of the whimsical sounds of William Green and The Magic Dream Band, a traditional New Year's Day meal, a count down and champagne toast at the stroke of midnight; and the all-important purpose of masquerading in support of a programmatic thrust designed to enhance the social, economic, and educational well-being of the local, national and international communities.

Community support is needed to make the 2nd annual "A Kaptivating Affair" New Year's Eve Masquerade Ball a success. Proceeds from the inaugural masquerade ball were donated to The Robert Fowler YMCA, National Association of Mental Illness (NAMI), The Peachtree Corners Veterans Monument, and funded the Ora B. Douglass Scholarship and community service programs in the Peachtree Corners, GA geographic area.

Tickets are $85 per person and attire is formal. For tickets log onto https://www.eventbrite.com/e/georgia-pearls-of-service-foundation-inc-psi-omega-omega-2nd-annual-new-years-eve-masquerade-ball-tickets-50294704816
