Jim Jordan is the author of the award-winning book The Slave-Trader’s Letter-Book:  Charles Lamar, the Wanderer, and Other Tales of the African Slave Trade. These 70 long-lost letters detail the illegal landing of 400 African slaves on American soil by Charles Lamar who used the yacht the Wanderer as a slave ship dropping off slaves on Jekyll Island.
