The Benton House, Grayson’s newest Personal and Memory Care community dedicated to making a difference in the lives of seniors, is kicking off an educational series to help older adults and family members with these often complicated subjects.
May 26th, 6 – 7 pm: Dr. Gary Figiel will present MANAGING ANXIETY; Proven techniques designed to reduce stress for both the caregiver and loved ones and reducing the need for medications designed to control symptoms.
On May 10th and May 31st the Benton House is hosting a Lunch and Learn which will be followed by personal tours and a meeting with the Executive Director. All events are free and open to the public and will take place at the Benton House of Grayson. The public can RSVP by calling 678-263-0003.
“These informational and educational series will help address individual questions as well as collective concerns. The community is already scheduling additional speakers in the coming months, and everyone involved is looking forward to being a greater resource to those who live in the area. Our goal is to ensure a fulfilling life for our residents and to partner with families in Grayson and around Atlanta,” said Julia Banks, Regional Community Relations Director. “If we can help to alleviate stress that our seniors and their families are experiencing and answer questions for them, then we have done our job.”
