Our servicemen and women sacrifice so much for our country. On Memorial Day, we come together as a nation to remember and honor those who lost their lives while serving.

U.S. veterans serve our country with pride and distinction, and their contributions continue long after their military service ends. The Involve a U.S. Veteran program recognizes the contributions of veterans and their value to our communities and local Lions clubs. The program waives the charter or entrance fee for any qualifying veteran who joins a new or existing Lions club between July 1st, 2013 and June 30th, 2015. This special pilot program is offered only in the United States.

Lions believe everyone deserves a healthy life. From providing health programs that focus on hearing loss to supporting efforts to control and prevent diabetes, Lions volunteers are working to improve the health of children and adults around the world. We serve local communities – and protect the planet. From performing hands-on community work and service projects to providing emergency assistance, our community and environment programs improve our communities – and protect the environment. Lions clubs are a group of men and women who identify needs within the community and work together to fulfill those needs.
