Gwinnett’s representatives to compete at the Miss Georgia Pageant in June

Emily Harlow is a 2015 graduate of Brookwood High School and she just finished her sophomore year at the University of North Georgia.
At Miss Georgia she will be competing in Evening Wear, Swimsuit, Talent, On-Stage Question, and Private Interview. For Emily’s talent she will be clogging to Elvis Presley’s song “Blue Suede Shoes” and her platform is the March of Dimes.
Soraya Bagheri is a rising Sophomore at Grayson High School. Soraya will be competing in June in Columbus, Georgia for the Miss Georgia Outstanding Teen title which is part of the Miss America Organization. The competition includes interview, evening gown, on stage question, fitness and talent. Soraya will be playing a contemporary piece on the piano for her talent. Also each contestant must have a platform that they are involved in. Soraya’s platform is the S.U.N project. This non profit organization collects items for homeless teenagers in her community.
