Helping MamasHelping Mamas, Inc Receives Grant through Rotary Club of Gwinnett

Snellville, GA – Helping Mamas received funding through the Rotary Club of Gwinnett to support our Safe Sleep Initiative. This generous donation will allow us to purchase cribs and pack and plays to ensure babies in Gwinnett have a safe place to sleep.

Unsafe sleep is the leading cause of death in infants under the age of 1 across the country. Helping Mamas Safe Sleep Initiative seeks to provide a safe sleep option for families that are unable to purchase safe sleep options for their infants. In 2016 Helping Mamas distribute 98 number of cribs and pack and plays. In 2017 we have already distributed 41 safe sleeping options. This funding will allow us to continue making safe sleep a reality for families living in poverty.
