Local merchant donates flowers to the City of Duluth
Duluth, GA – A beautiful bed of flowers now line parts of Downtown Duluth all thanks to one local merchant who wants to help make his city beautiful.
“The feedback already has been so great. People call us and stop by to tell us how great it looks. It’s just unbelievable so far” said Woody’s Nursery President Frank Bell.
Woody’s Nursery located on Buford Highway donated and planted flowers ranging from purple hearts to pink verbenas at the intersection of W. Lawrenceville St. and Main St. It was all in effort to make his town light up with an array of colors.
“We are just excited about it” said Woody’s Nursery President Frank Bell. The donation truly encompasses the true meaning of the City’s motto “Capture the Spirit of Good Living,” as one local man’s effort does just that.
