Local Odyssey of the Mind Team moves onto World Competition

When Lilburn Woman's Club Education Co-Chairmen Karen Snavely (far left) and Jeannie Schweck (far right) agreed to sponsor Trickum Middle School's Odyssey of the Mind Team, they had no idea that these talented local Lilburn area girls would catapult themselves into the World Competition taking place in Iowa this summer.

This is the second year that this particular OOTM team has come together to learn creative problem-solving methods and living the spirit of teamwork. The team agreed to perform at the LWC's May Scholarship and Awards Presentation meeting and did a fantastic job presenting their eight minute musical skit to several hundred members in the audience. "We love supporting our local youth in ways that challenge them to think outside the box!" said LWC President Patty Gabilondo.
