Jacob Ziadie wins Scholarship
Jacob Ziadie was recognized at the 2014 Spring Awards Banquet in April, held annually by the University of Georgia's Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources. Ziadie, son of Delroy and Casandra Ziadie of Grayson, Ga., won the Ernie E. Provost Scholarship.
The Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources, founded in 1906, is the oldest such school in the South. It prepares leaders in the conservation and sustainable management of forests and other renewable natural resources. Located on the University of Georgia's south campus, the Warnell School has nearly 300 students in four majors learning to use the latest ideas and technology for real-world applications. Every year, the Warnell School awards more than $100,000 in scholarships to help students pay for their education.
