Eco-Focused Nonprofit Selects Dan Diener of Brookwood High School and Meyer Anne Hudson of Mill Creek High School to Receive Youth Advisory Council Scholarships

Lawrenceville, Ga. – With a goal of investing in Gwinnett County’s next generation of leaders, Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful (GCB) established the Green Youth Advisory Council in 2014 to serve as a collaborative, hands-on youth leadership group of rising environmental stewards. High school students throughout the Gwinnett County Public School System are nominated by their teachers to serve on the council for one year.

Awarded $1500 to aid families in transition

ATLANTA (June 22, 2017) – The J.M. Tull-Gwinnett Family YMCA was honored with one of the Avenues of Service grants given out by the Gwinnett Rotary Club on June 20. Each year the Rotary Club of Gwinnett awards grants to local non-profits thanks to their annual fundraising efforts and a charitable endowment the Club set up years ago via the Community Foundation for Northeast Georgia.
