The Metro North Georgia Water Planning District invites individuals to capture the beauty of our natural resources in photographs in an effort to remind residents of the important role our region’s lakes and rivers play in providing valuable water resources to the region’s water supply.

First Human Case of West Nile Virus Confirmed In Georgia

ATLANTA – The Georgia Department of Public Health today confirmed the state’s first human case of West Nile virus (WNV) of the season.

The popular Lawrenceville restaurant, Local Republic, will be moving from the current location on West Crogan to a building that the owners, Ben Bailey and Chris Collin recently acquired at 139 N Perry St. The move is planned for the first quarter of 2016.

K-9 units give church camp look at 4-legged officers
