Sugar Hill Opening State of the Art Splash Park tonight, Sept 1st

The city of Sugar Hill is helping residents cool down with a new splash park.  The Splash Park @ Sugar Hill is located behind Sugar Hill's City Hall, adjacent to the new Dawn P. Gober Family Plaza and behind the city's amphitheater, The Bowl @ Sugar Hill.

Obituary

Charles Max Mount, Sr., age 75 of Lawrenceville passed away Mon., July 18, 2016. Max is survived by his wife of 58 years, Jean Mount; daughter and son in law, Starla and Andrew David; sons and daughter in law, Max Mount, Jr., and Marc and Pam Mount; 1 sister, Teresa Harrison; 5 grandchildren; and 1 great grandson.

Annual Williams Reunion

William Pittman Williams was born in 1814 in Oglethorpe County and came to Gwinnett as a youth.  He married Elizabeth Weems at the age of 17.  William fathered eighteen children, ten with his first wife and eight with his second wife, Sarah Pogue.
