It’s that time of year again.  The kids are full of candy from Halloween and everyone is prepping for Thanksgiving at home or out of town.  We’re all marking off dates on our calendars and planning our yearly traditions.  Lawrenceville Rotarians participated in Rotary Polio Day at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta where Rotary International received recognition for helping in the efforts to eradicate polio. Local Rotarians visit CDC and take POLIO LAB tour

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention celebrated World Polio Day, October 21st, by inviting Rotary International guests to a special tour and program at their facility in Atlanta. Rotary International has been a major contributor to the effort to eradicate polio from the world, and this event was designed to offer thanks for that support.
