Lawrenceville – The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday fulfilled a promise to adjust compensation for all county employees, and in particular sworn law enforcement officers, to bring salaries closer in line with market and assist with recruitment and retention.

Housing-related changes have been implemented by 66 GICH communities

ATLANTA – Five Georgia communities have been newly selected to receive assistance with their housing needs through the Georgia Initiative for Community Housing (GICH), a public-private initiative that helps communities strategically grow their economies through housing-related solutions.

Edward Sezonov is known throughout the southern part of Gwinnett County as “The Snellville Honey Man”. Every Saturday during the Snellville Farmer’s Market’s June-to-September season, he mans a booth and sells the local honey he harvests from the 40-odd hives he maintains.

The City of Sugar Hill has named the 2017-2018 Youth Council members. Five of the Youth Council members, Spencer-Grace Williams (Youth Mayor), Kaan Cubukcu (Youth Mayor Pro Tem), Ethan Shaw (Secretary), Nida Merchant, (Youth Ambassadors Chair) and Maya Chanda are returning candidates from the previous school year.
