Lt. Adams receives SAR Law Enforcement Award

Each year the Awards Committee of the Button Gwinnett Chapter, Georgia Society Sons of the American Revolution presents the Law Enforcement Medal to an individual who has served in this occupation. The medal is intended to recognize exceptional service or accomplishment in the field of law enforcement.
The recipient of this year's award was Lt. J. G. "Greg" Adams of the Gwinnett County Police Department Special Weapons And Tactical Team Commander. After receiving his honorable discharge from the United States Marine Corps he began his career with the in law enforcement with the Gwinnett County Sheriff's Department. In 1990 he transferred to the Gwinnett County Police Department where he has held various leadership position. Lt. Adams has been recognized many time for his professional and exemplary service to the Gwinnett County Community.
The Button Gwinnett Chapter, GSSAR was proud to present the 2014 SAR Law Enforcement Medal to Lt. Adams at their recent monthly chapter meeting.
