City of Norcross Set to Paint the Town Blue during BluesBerry Music Fest 2015
Free Festival in Historic Downtown District to Boast Live Entertainment and More on June 20
Norcross, Ga. – On Saturday, June 20, Historic Downtown Norcross will play host to its annual BluesBerry and Beer Festival.
Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy locally grown blueberries, blues artists, food specials and a mini beerfest. Local restaurants will feature all-day chef specials and libations inspired by the blueberry fruit (such as blueberry margaritas and blueberry mojitos), and local merchants will have "BluesBerry" offerings, as well.
Blue Moon Cycling will sponsor a Vintage Motorcycle Show with Pre-1970 bikes on Jones Street from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM. The beats will hit the streets with a lineup of great blues music in Betty Mauldin Park and Jones Street from 5:00-11:00 PM, including:
5:00 PM - Cody Matlock
6:30 PM - Dodge City Blues featuring Frankie Lee & Joe Clover
8:00 PM - Mudcat & the Atlanta Horns
9:30 PM - The Cazanovas
Festival-goers will want to be on the lookout for the "cool blue dude" on the sidewalk in front of participating merchants. Admission to this event is free-of-charge. For a full list of participating merchants offers, visit the BluesBerry & Beer Festival Facebook Page.
