Movie about Veterans Memorial open to public July 4

Snellville– On July 4, City Hall will be the site of a special presentation of a film about the construction of the new Veterans Memorial, the veterans who helped build it and the memories of about 40 veterans who chose to share their military service stories.

Daniel Espeut, a graduate of Collins Hill High School, has produced and directed his first feature documentary film, GREASEPAINT, which has been acquired by Los Angeles-based Cinema Libre Studio and will be released nationwide on DVD via popular online retailers and at select brick-and-mortar outlets starting July 1, 2014.

Lawrenceville, Ga.  – Gwinnett Medical Center (GMC) was recognized with an American Heart Association Mission: Lifeline® Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award. The award recognizes GMC’s success in implementing the highest standard of care for heart attack patients. And GMC is the first hospital in Georgia to receive the Gold Plus performance distinction.
