Santa Claus makes a stop in Duluth
Duluth – It will be a jolly ol’ time for families and friends as Santa makes his final stop in Downtown Duluth for “Cookies and Cocoa with Santa.”
“We are just beside ourselves about this event. It’s going to a lot of fun and I’m sure the kids will really enjoy seeing Santa right before Christmas to get their last few Christmas wishes in for the holiday” said Event Coordinator Maggie Waddell.

Economic development manager wins county award
Snellville – City Economic Development Manager Eric Van Otteren won the Partnership Gwinnett Imagination Award presented by Partnership Gwinnett Tuesday.
When you’ve lost someone you love, it’s funny how thoughts of that person pop into your head, no matter how long ago you lost him. My dad died in March of last year, at the admirable old age of 93. Even now, I’ll go to pick up the phone to call him, to share some news with him, and it hits me. I can’t do that anymore. He’s gone.
The holidays are upon us and that means family, fun and food! What’s great about this time of year is the excitement in the air and the generous spirit that comes with it. The only downside may be the extra pounds we pack on after the holiday craze has ended.
In the mad rush that is December, our “to-do” lists are miles long. On top of trying to wrap up loose ends at work before the new year, we’re busy preparing holiday get-togethers and searching for the perfect gifts to express our love and appreciation to our friends, family and colleagues.
