Gwinnett County Public Schools students, teams earn top honors in state technology competition

Student teams from Parkview High School, Grayson High School, Collins Hill High School, and Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science, and Technology have qualified to compete at the National Technology Student Association (TSA) Conference, after earning top spots in the Georgia TSA competition. Parkview’s TSA chapter also was recognized as the top chapter in the state.

Gwinnett County student named a U.S. Presidential Scholar

Grayson High School senior Yash Shirsath has earned one of the top academic honors in our country… recognition as a 2015 U.S. Presidential Scholar. Shirsath is one of only 141 students nationwide to receive the honor and one of only three Georgia students selected.

It seemed more than a little ironic that the Grayson Arts and History Center announced its reopening less than a month after the intersection of Highway 78 and Rosebud Road was named in honor of Mrs. Runnell Brooks Foster.
