It’s no secret that the Button Gwinnett Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) and the Philadelphia Winn Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) regularly collaborate. Their mutual goals of preserving American history and promoting education have strengthened their bonds of friendship and cooperation.
On May 15, Lydia McGill and Ann Story, members of the Philadelphia Winn Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, gave a presentation on the DAR Museum at the Gwinnett Historical Society’s meeting. They highlighted the furnishings in the DAR Museum Period Rooms.
DULUTH, GA – Forty community leaders graduated from the prestigious Leadership Gwinnett program in May. This group not only completed the nine-month program requirement, they also coordinated a campaign to donate nearly $10,000 to the Leadership Gwinnett Scholarship Fund.
