Cindy is the Associate Director of Development & Operations for the Gwinnett Medical Center Foundation.

A trip of a lifetime, thanks to ‘charmed’ dog

Cindy and Tom Murphy are self-described parents of two dogs, Maddie and Marshall. Maddie is a dachshund whom they rescued eight years ago when her former owners abandoned her. Marshall came to the couple as a puppy a year ago (under some unusual circumstances), and he has led quite a charmed life ever since.

Edward Sezonov is known throughout the southern part of Gwinnett County as “The Snellville Honey Man”. Every Saturday during the Snellville Farmer’s Market’s June-to-September season, he mans a booth and sells the local honey he harvests from the 40-odd hives he maintains.
