City of Lawrenceville and Slow Pour Brewing to Host Simple Southernality on June 2

Celebration in the Depot District to feature art, food, and music From “A Thousand Horses”

The City of Lawrenceville together with Slow Pour Brewing announce the first-ever Simple Southernality Festival on June 2 from 4 – 9 p.m. in Lawrenceville’s Depot District (407 N. Clayton Street). In addition to highlighting Lawrenceville’s ever-growing Entertainment District by the Historic Train Depot, the celebration will feature art, food, and music from “Beau & Luci” and headliner “A Thousand Horses.”

Snellville Public Safety Night is June 5

The Snellville Police Department will be out in force, hosting its annual Public Safety Night June 5.

The free event, also sponsored by the Snellville Citizens’ Police Academy Alumni Association, will take place from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on the Towne Green in front of City Hall.

Cedar Creek WMA shooting range to host “Give it a Shot: Handgun 101 Class”: Limited space available

Cedar Creek WMA Shooting Range, located near Monticello, will be the host location for an upcoming class designed to help introduce people to handguns, according to the Georgia Department of Natural Resources’ Wildlife Resources Division (WRD). This free event, Give It a Shot: Handgun 101, is a perfect opportunity to gain knowledge and confidence in handgun use, but be sure to register soon as space is limited!
