PEACHTREE CORNER – A decade ago Peachtree Corners residents Luis and Yanin Fernandez opened Mojitos, a Cuban-American restaurant in downtown Norcross. The eatery was so successful, the couple decided it was time to expand and chose space in The Forum in Peachtree Corners for their second Mojitos.
Duluth – On the eve of the unveiling of the Dream Keepers in April of 2017, Port Authority of New York and New Jersey representative, Moises Gomez, authorized a flag to be flown over Ground Zero in honor of our city’s 9/11 artwork dedication. Later in the summer, Mr. Gomez presented this flag to Duluth’s first responders and shared his first-hand experience from the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks.

Hope For The Warriors recently awarded 10 Military Spouse and Caregiver Scholarships for higher education totaling $15,500 including Duluth resident and Savannah College of Art and Design student, Khieda King. King received the Restoring Self Scholarship of $2,000, awarded to those seeking any undergraduate degree.
