The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners and Gwinnett County Police Department officials on Tuesday broke ground on the Bay Creek Police Precinct/Alternate 911 Center project.
The multi-purpose field at Rhodes Jordan Park in Lawrenceville will get a more durable, low-maintenance playing surface by next fall. Gwinnett commissioners awarded a field-conversion contract Tuesday to the low bidder, Precision Turf, LLC.
Senior Victoria Huynh was recently selected as a semifinalist for the 64th annual National Merit Scholarship Competition. She is among approximately 16,000 semifinalists nationwide, which represents less than one percent of all U.S. high school seniors.
