Community Encouraged to “Masquerade” In Support of Service to All Mankind

Psi Omega Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and its philanthropic arm Georgia Pearls of Service Foundation, Inc. (GPOS) will ring out the old and ring in the new with their 2nd annual signature fundraising event “A Kaptivating Affair”, a New Year’s Eve Masquerade Ball, on December 31 at the Hilton Atlanta Northeast in Peachtree Corners, Georgia from 9:00 pm – 2:00 am.

Downtown Norcross’ Holcomb Bridge Road Railroad Crossing to See Improvements Beginning on February 18

Project to allow for safer vehicular crossing over railroad tracks, drives urged to drive safely

The City of Norcross would like to notify residents and visitors that the Gwinnett County Department of Transportation will begin preliminary work for the Holcomb Bridge Road Railroad Crossing Improvement Project. Upon completion of preliminary work, road closures are projected to begin in late February to allow for major grading and other work.

GSBA hosts inaugural competition to celebrate outstanding School Boards: Gwinnett named 2018 Governance Team of the Year

The Georgia School Boards Association named the Gwinnett County Board of Education and Gwinnett County Public Schools as the recipient of its 2018 Governance Team of the Year Award. This prestigious award, which will be presented annually to one Georgia public school district’s board of education and superintendent, honors the governance team that has achieved all-around success in its district.
