Hearings on residential developments moved
The applications for two residential developments near Eastside Medical Center will not be heard until Sept. 23.
At a work session Monday, city officials approved a plan to move the city’s Planning Commission’s public hearing of the two applications from Lynwood Development Group and Brand Properties from Aug. 26 to Sept. 23.
The move was made in order to give the recently hired independent reviewer more time to analyze the applications, allow the Gwinnett County officials to make comment on the proposals and allow the applicants to provide more information to city Planning Department officials.
As of now, the schedule for hearing the two applications is as follows:
Planning Commission hearing - Sept. 23
Mayor and Council 1st reading – Oct. 13
Mayor and Council 2nd reading - Oct. 27
