SNELLVILLE – Art created by the city’s most “experienced” artists is currently on display in City Hall.

Each Thursday, a group gathers at the Snellville Senior Center to learn artistic direction and enjoy two hours of creativity and fellowship.

Ranging in age from 60 to 89 years, the group’s members consist of beginners to more experienced artists, but everyone contributes to the class.

The artists come from all walks of life, all parts of the U.S. including Iowa and Maine and from locations around the world including Canada, Puerto Rico, Burma and Hungary.

The artwork of the artists at the Snellville Senior Center is available for viewing from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday in the City Hall Community Room, 2342 Oak Road.
