ReStore is the retail division of Habitat for Humanity where donated items help fund home build for families in need. Items accepted includes; home furnishings, decor, cabinets, appliances, lighting, tile, flooring, tools and building materials of all types – just about anything necessary to build, renovate and decorate. Over 850 ReStores nationwide divert tens of thousands of tons of reusable materials from landfills each year. There are 7 locations in metro-Atlanta with the newest ReStore opening in Roswell this Spring.
Gwinnett Habitat for Humanity has been serving low-income families in the community since 1988 and has built over 126 homes with help from local sponsors, supporters and volunteers. Where Gwinnett Habitat fulfills the mission to build homes, communities and hope, ReStore provides a source of funding through the sale of donated items to support the Habitat mission to build decent, affordable homes for families in need.
