2)  Europe’s Rivers & Castles: Prague to Nuremberg to Luxembourg to Paris start July 4, 2016 (depart USA)
This cruise was the 1st European River Cruise I ever took.  I took Friends of Grapes & Hops Restaurant that had a German Owner.  It was gorgeous and so full of history that I was hooked forever on River Cruises.  Nuremberg was my favorite city on the cruise due to the historical Nazi War Museum.  This holds the story of the rise and fall of Hitler.  I never understood how the Holocaust could happen until I visited this Museum.  It’s a must visit place.

Start with 2 nights in Prague,  an enchanting 7-night cruise from Nuremberg to Luxembourg (Trier), and end with 3 nights in Paris.

We’ll be stopping at quaint medieval villages seemingly untouched by time. Visit the German towns of Bamberg, Rudesheim and Cochem and experience the dramatic scenery of the Rhine River Gorge, dotted with picturesque fortresses and castle ruins. Continue through the meandering Mosel River, admiring the valley’s rolling hillsides and steeply terraced vineyards. A TGV train ride whisks you off to Paris where you will conclude your journey with a three night stay.  Summer months dates:

You’re invited to join us Friends of The Gwinnett Citizen Newspaper as we plan for our 2016 adventure together.  This calls for wine and cheese, naturally, and a place to gather while we explore our options.  Where would you like to cruise withf friends?  I’ll bring cheese and crackers and possibly the wine.
