EAA Chapter 690 to Hold Eagle Flight Rally

EAA Chapter 690 to Hold Eagle Flight Rally

Have you ever dreamed about learning to fly, but did not know what was involved or how much it might cost.  Saturday, April 4th is the day to get those questions answered and have an opportunity to take the controls of a light airplane.

Beginning at 12:00 noon EAA Chapter 690 (www.eaa690.org) will have several planes and pilots available to both answer your questions and take you on an introductory flight and give you a chance to take the controls yourself.  The best part is the cost, IT’S FREE!!  Yes, you read that right.  This opportunity will not cost you a thing, other than your time.

The EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association), with chapters all across the country, has a program called EAGLE FLIGHTS where pilots that belong to the chapter take interested members of the community on an introductory flight so they can judge their enthusiasm for the world of general aviation and learn more about the cost, etc., that go with becoming a private pilot.  For more information, visit www.eaa.org and search for Eagle Flights.

To fly with us on Saturday, April 4th please email eagleflights@eaa690.net with your name and contact information and we will be in touch with you.  You may also attend our pancake breakfast starting at 8:00 that morning where for $6.00 you will be served all-you-can-eat pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, biscuits & gravy, mil, orange juice and coffee.  Following the breakfast, there will be a program at 10:30 and the Eagle Flights will take place after the program.
