Mayor Allison Wilkerson joined representatives from Principal Senior Living to officially welcome Benton House to Grayson. “We are excited you chose Grayson,” says Mayor Allison Wilkerson. “This facility for an aging population will suit the Grayson Community.”
Benton House Grayson will offer assisted living/personal care options as well as memory care. All levels will enjoy an active calendar of events seven days a week with full-time social directors offering a variety of options designed to suit all levels of engagement. Daily fitness, walking clubs and exercise classes will be offered. 
Benton House also provides interesting seminars, lectures, concerts, and performing arts events helping to round out an active lifestyle in a secure environment. Family and friends are encouraged to attend a major special event each month. Spiritual services are also available.
The floorplan provides two distinctive, yet integrated communities within the building. Both the Assisted Living and Memory Care units offer secured courtyards with gardening opportunities among the seated areas. Several units have patios for enjoying the outdoors. Dining and activities areas are centrally located for social events and daily dining. 
The innovative design of Benton House’s Beacon Neighborhood is created with passion and purpose to serve the memory care needs of residents. The large, open plan offers residents the reassurance that they are not alone, but also allows quiet spaces for retreat. Local Pastor, Steve Mason of Faith Community Church and his wife, Linda, were on hand as a community representative to welcome the partners at Principal Senior Living to Grayson. “This is a significant step in the right direction for an aging population in Grayson,” says Steve. “Benton House also offers more opportunity for service organizations to reach out and embrace a larger community.”
