Born on January 17, 1960 in Memphis, TN, she lived in Memphis, moved to Georgia and settled in Lawrenceville, where she enjoyed gardening and playing with her dogs.
Barb worked for Sage Software for 26 years. Barb was devout in her faith, holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology. Surviving include Sisters and Brothers-in-law: Kelly & Jerry Buck of Snellville, GA, Bill & Melissa Sonnemann of Horn Lake, MS, Teri & Eddie Leonard of Huntsville, AL, Jack & Margaret Sonnemann of Hobart, Australia, Brother-in-law: Barry & Liz Boggs of Iuka, MS, many beloved nieces and nephews, as well as several great nieces and an anticipated great nephew. She is preceded by her parents Jack & Mary Anne Sonnemann and her sister Lynn Boggs.
A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2015, at 11:00 AM, at St. Oliver Plunkett Catholic Church, 3200 Brooks Dr, Snellville, GA 30078. Father John Welch will serve as celebrant. Relatives and friends are welcome at the home of Kelly and Jerry Buck immediately following the service, 1574 Beaver Creek Ln, Snellville, GA 30078. As Barb was not a formal person, the attire for the mass will be casual. The family request that those attending wear gray, as gray is the color representing the fight against brain cancer.
