Leave with new tools that can strengthen their response to addiction.
Over 200 leaders of various faiths have been invited to attend this important event at Cross Pointe Church. This event for faith leaders will facilitate change in the way we treat addiction in our Gwinnett County community. The participants will hear from Judge Kathryn Schrader, Gwinnett County Drug Court, Eddie Reeves with the Gwinnett County Medical Examiner’s office, Gina Hutto, Director of Addictive Services, View Point Health, and others, about the crisis many families are facing today.
The attendees will also hear stories of hope from volunteers in long term recovery who serve as peer support for people and their families who suffer from the condition of addiction, our nation’s number one chronic health problem. Most importantly, faith leaders will learn how to strengthen their response to addiction, and through this response serve families and impact their communities in powerful new ways.
Navigate Recovery Gwinnett is a nonprofit, grassroots organization whose mission is to serve individuals and families suffering from addiction by connecting them to the support they need and removing barriers that prevent them from getting well.
