Sorority hosts outdoor celebration of the arts to support local community

It will feature spoken word, delectable treats and a live performance by Atlanta’s own Brownchild Entertainment. Guests will also have an opportunity to explore this 12,000 square foot museum and learn about Georgia’s history through sophisticated interactive technology, film and exhibitions. “We are delighted to host this amazing event again this year. It is an outward creative expression of the arts and gives us the opportunity to raise monies in order to meet the greater needs of our community and award scholarships to deserving youth in Gwinnett County,” said Annie Davis, President of the Gwinnett County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. Guests are asked to bring a book, music CD, or art supplies for children aged 3-16. These items will be donated to The Partnership Against Domestic Violence (PADV) and Sheltering Arms.
