Cedar Creek WMA shooting range to host “Give it a Shot: Handgun 101 Class”: Limited space available

Cedar Creek WMA Shooting Range, located near Monticello, will be the host location for an upcoming class designed to help introduce people to handguns, according to the Georgia Department of Natural Resources’ Wildlife Resources Division (WRD). This free event, Give It a Shot: Handgun 101, is a perfect opportunity to gain knowledge and confidence in handgun use, but be sure to register soon as space is limited!

• Give It a Shot: Handgun 101: Tues. June 26, 2018 (10 am – 3 pm): Limited to 10 Participants

This class, open to men and women age 12 years old and up, will focus on those with little to no experience in operating a handgun. Upon completion, participants will understand, and can demonstrate, how to safely handle, operate, maintain and store a handgun. Attendees will only use .22 caliber handguns provided by WRD (participants will not need or be able to use personal handguns at this event).
