SNELLVILLE, GA (February 18, 2014) The Greater Eastside Chamber of Commerce was named the city’s official municipal chamber of commerce Feb. 10. “GECC is honored to have made a meaningful impression in the Snellville community, and is glad to see that volunteers’ hard work with the city government, Snellville Entrepreneur Council, Snellville Tourism and Trade, local schools, and our own NetLinks and general meetings held in the city have had an effect on business development,” said GECC President Jamie Dempsey. “We will strive to continue to educate businesses and help them see Snellville as the great place to locate that it is.”
Created in 2005 as the Greater Grayson Chamber of Commerce, the club has been working diligently with the city’s Economic Development Office and other economic engines to improve the business climate locally by attracting new businesses through ventures like the quarterly Snellville Entrepreneur Summit.
The GECC represents businesses in Snellville, Grayson and Loganville.
