BAPS Charities Donates 15,000 Pounds of Items to Berkmar High School CARE Closet

Over the past three years, through the continuous support of the BAPS Charities, the CARE (The Community Assistance and Resource Effort) of Berkmar High School is able to serve students throughout the community.

BAPS2 240The CARE closet at Berkmar has been open for almost three full years and has been able to support over 100 students and their families. BAPS Charities has donated over 15,000 pounds of food/hygiene items. This has helped students gain access to the necessities during their time of need. The sustainability plan for CARE closet has been able to work through this partnership and this partnership has allowed the community to TRULY embrace the FULL spirit of CARE Closet by involving others in the process to positively affect the overall school culture. BAPS Charities is thrilled to be a continued supporter of this great effort to better the lives of local high school students.
