Last week, I sat down with a customer who went to three facilities and had three different opinions on the types of things she should do for keeping her face in youthful condition. She didn’t share this until I had finished her consultation and she told me that it was the first time all of her concerns had been addressed. Her previous experiences had ranged from a provider entering the room to provide a treatment without thoroughly discussing the after-effects and expected results to another who asked her to tell them “what she wanted.” This is not the first time we have heard this feedback.
When a client chooses About Face Skin Care, we sit down and offer a no-charge consultation appointment to review all aspects of their health history, lifestyle, areas of concern, allergies, previous treatments and satisfaction with those, and we help to determine the final goal. We then customize a plan for those particular needs. The client understands that the plan may be completed at their pace. If a mother of a bride wants a facial to glow for her daughter’s wedding day, we will help her choose her best option and will never pressure her into any other treatments or products. If another mom wants to consider all of our choices to look her best on the big day, we will review those that would help her reach her goal and, again, not pressure her into any other purchases. We realize our reputation rides on customer satisfaction and pressuring, over-selling and under educating will not build the reputation we have earned.
The “About Face Skin Care Style” is one that focuses on getting the skin and muscles of the face and neck as toned and tight as possible with treatments that are noninvasive, and then finish with injectables, if necessary, to restore a youthful face shape and glow. Often clients are amazed that a minimal amount of change can make the face look ten pounds lighter and the eyes look more awake and vibrant.
The same is true for gentlemen. Men account for the fastest growing population in our practice. It is becoming more acceptable for men to seek aesthetic services to feel more youthful.
