Lindsy is a 2000 high school graduate of Killian Hill Christian School and 2005 graduate from Georgia Perimeter College majoring in nursing. She received her BSN in 2008 from Chamberlin College of Nursing. Lindsy recently began a new position in the Labor and Delivery Unit at a South Carolina area hospital. Dave graduated from Norcross High School and then attended Valdosta State University with a degree in Political Science. He received a Masters in Communication from New Mexico State University. He is presently the Offensive Line coach for the football program at Savannah State University.
The wedding and reception were held on June 13, 2014 at the North Pavillion Atrium on the campus of Duke University. Angela Gallegio served as Matron of Honor and Amber Lehman was the maid of Honor. Dave’s father, Gary, served as his best man. The ceremony was officiated by Rev. Daniel Simmons and “The Lord’s Prayer” was sung by Lindsy’s father, Roger, who is Minister of Music at Westside Baptist Chruch in Snellville. Following the ceremony, the atrium was reset up for the reception where guests dined on food from four of Lindsy and Dave’s favorite restaurants from the Durham area where they first met.
The couple has settled in Savannah, GA following trips to Cozemel, Mexico and Zurich, Switzerland.
