The bride is the daughter of Merrilyn and Richard Stamp of Temple, Georgia. Kristie is a graduate of Temple High School in Temple, Georgia. Kristie works at Publix and Gwinnett Citizen (one of our own!). The groom is the son of Rita and Joe Byars of Lawrenceville. Garrett graduated from Central Gwinnett High School in Lawrenceville. He works at Lowe’s in Athens. The ceremony took place at Unicoi’s creek bank. In lieu of attendants, the guest list was small and intimate. The bride wore a simple white dress and her signature Converse shoes and NASA Volkswagen jacket.
The groom looked relaxed and dapper in a button up shirt and jeans. The ceremony was sweet and romantically simple. The reception was a dinner of hot dogs and home cooking at one of the park’s pavilions. The Byars honeymooned in Helen, where the Volkswagen and Audi car show SoWo (Southern Wörthersee) was taking place. They reside in Lawrenceville
