Buford – Dream Vacations, the number one travel franchise for military veterans, announced that Buford resident and Navy Veteran Christo Robinson is one of seven military veterans to win the seventh annual nationwide contest “Operation Vetrepreneur: Become Your Own General.”
Robinson received a free travel agency franchise valued at $12,700. Their travel agency will operate under the name Dream Vacations – Robinson Travel Group.
Robinson was one of 300 applicants to apply for this annual contest, which was open to former members of any of the five branches of the U.S. military (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and Coast Guard) who were retired, off active duty and/or honorably discharged prior to the contest start date in May. Robinson participated in a rigorous three-part application process which included creating a business plan, video essay, and phone interviews.
“My love and passion for travel is one of the main reasons I became interested in having a career in this industry,” said Navy Veteran Robinson. “My 23 years of military service and living abroad will afford me the opportunity to instantly connect to my customers from my personal experiences and provide them with the best recommendations on travel to their destinations.
