This event serves as a kick-off for the 2016 Friends of Scouting Campaign which raises the operational funding for the Atlanta area Scouting program that serves more than 32,000 local young people.

Dr. Robert M. Gates, Former Secretary of Defense, and Current National President of the Boy Scouts of America, delivered the keynote address at this year’s event.

Because of their support, more than 32,000 local young people will be able to experience the once-in-a-lifetime adventure and leadership development that can only be found in Scouting.”
